My usage behavior in terms of feed readers has changed

Interesting. I’ve noticed that in the last few days, I specifically go to categories I’ve created and read the latest posts in them.

How did I do that before? I basically jumped to “All New Posts” and went through them from top to bottom. But in the meantime I search specifically. Today, for example, I want to go through my gaming feeds.

At the moment I’m also testing Feedbin. And there are some nice bonuses there. I jump my Micro.blog folder so I have a really nice timeline there that even shows me comments on click. It’s very similar with Twitter. It’s the nicest way to read tweets for me. But these 2 points I’m just testing at the moment. Whether I stick with it is something else again.

Why this has changed after many years of the same use - no idea. But I have a guess: It is the time factor. Although I only subscribe to feeds I want to read, I don’t always have time for everything. And when I surf in, I want to read just that and nothing else.
